FAQ

I love animals and I would love to volunteer to help in the Shelter. How can I do this?

There are different types of volunteers who help the TTSPCA. Without them we could not exist and we appreciate all the work they have done over the years. Some people volunteer to help with a specific project, like painting the buildings or constructing kennels. Other people volunteer by collecting items needed by the shelter (towels, shampoo, bandages, etc.) and bringing them into the Shelter on a regular basis. Other people come every specifically to walk the dogs. We need responsible foster parents for “special needs” animals (animals who are sick or very young). In addition, there are those who come into the Shelter to help in the Cattery or Kennels by cleaning kennels, feeding the animals or helping to sociale the young ones.

To become a volunteer you will need to provide a picture ID, fill out an application form and attend an orientation session.  To get further information on the next orientation session and other details, please call the Shelter at 622-1367 or email our volunteer coordinator - volunteer@ttspca.org
