Volunteers can help the shelter run smoothly, increase adoptions and keep the animals comfortable during their stay with us at the shelter, playing an important role in animals’ socialization. Volunteering is a great opportunity for the organization and the individual.
We require each prospective volunteer attend an Orientation Session to become acquainted with the protocol of the shelter. This mandatory session is to ensure that safe and sanitary practices are being observed and will explain the many ways to volunteer with us.
We ask volunteers be at least 14 years old and have an absolute passion and love of animals!
